Vintage 1960s Oscar de la Renta boutique dress for Saks Fifth Avenue. Base color is black, maybe silk/chiffon, with interwoven gold metallic motif. Semi-sheer skirt with black silk? lining. Pointed collar. Bra strap anchors on the inside. Back zipper closure. Hook & 'eye' front neck to create a keyhole neckline or leave open for v-neck. May fit an X-Small or Small. The empire waist is about chest height and measures 28" in circumference, even though the measurements for the pit-to-pit is a bit larger, the 'waist' measurements is more accurate to fit the bust because of possible rip cage size.
Flaws: no belt, but belt loops are there, one of them is a little stretched. There are minute arm pit staining, and dress may need to be dry cleaned. There are minute stains on black skirt lining. Inside seams are fraying a little bit. Gold metallic 'fibers' are fraying in some areas on the dress. There is a size tag with size 12 but vintage sizing in the 60s were smaller than today's day.
